AMPEX is a small, fast paced, growing aerospace company looking for new teammates.Position SummaryAMPEX is looking for a highly organized and experienced Program Manager with strong attention to detail. The Program Manager is responsible for the execution and quantitative management of Programs and is the primary customer point of contact for these development efforts.This is a REMOTE position + 25% or less Travel. No employer visa sponsorship is available.Principle DutiesManage and execute program life cycle:Program proposal response and biddingProgram kickoffProgram planningFinancial tracking and planningETC forecasting using strong EVMS principlesProgram executionMonitor, control, and report progressProgram IMS (plan vs. actual)Provide oversight and coordinationStaffingDeveloped and procured hardwareDeveloped and procured softwarePerform program risk managementPerform program opportunity managementPerform program close-outWork with associate organizations to ensure infrastructure is in place to successfully execute programs (e.g. Facility, IT, Security).Required travel to headquarters in Hayward, California, and other sites when neededQualificationsPMP strongly preferred6+ years DoD program management experience with engineering development programs6+ years control account management experience in engineering development programs6+ years Earned Value Management experience in engineering development programsExperience writing and delivering CDRLs and SDRLsProficient with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Power PointBS Degree or Equivalent experienceExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to obtain a US Government security clearanceMust be independently motivated, self-starterMust be U.S. Citizens - this position will be working directly on a contract with the U.S. Government, which requires all employees performing these functions be U.S. Citizens.
