Leveraging your expertise, you will manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables while designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing software solutions. You will architect reusable solutions shared across all company products and may lead others in solving complex technical challenges while providing guidance and oversight to software engineers.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with UX designers, product managers, and engineering leadership to build best-in-class streaming experiences.Collaborate with fellow developers to build, review, and deliver modern media applications for Samsung, LG, and other streaming-media devices.Use data and experimentation to drive new product functionalities, optimize the viewer experience, and continuously improve applications.Mentor and provide guidance to junior software engineers.Basic QualificationsStrong leadership abilities, problem-solving skills, and a passion for learning and teaching new technologies.Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, etc.).Proven experience developing sophisticated user interfaces within large and organized codebases.Work samples demonstrating experience in building high-quality user interfaces.Preferred QualificationsExperience with common development tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Webpack, AWS, Confluence, and JIRA.Experience building applications backed by web services is a plus.Development experience for Samsung, LG, or similar devices is a plus.Experience working on international products.Strong familiarity with Scrum methodology.Education RequirementsBA, BS, or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field (or equivalent experience).Additional InformationRemote: This role is open to full remote work.Conversion Potential: If this role transitions to a permanent position, candidates may need to be local to a company hub.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionInformation Technology and EngineeringIndustriesIT Services and IT Consulting, Entertainment Providers, and Software Development #J-18808-Ljbffr
