OverviewSenior Aftermarket Sales EngineerAre you passionate about growing aftermarket service business and building lasting customer relationships in the water and industrial pump industry? Then join us in our mission to pioneer smarter solutions for moving and transforming water, reducing energy consumption, and enhancing quality of life for people.As our new Senior Aftermarket Sales Engineer, you will be driving aftermarket sales growth across the California territory by expanding service agreements, promoting digital services, and positioning Grundfos as the trusted partner for pump repairs, maintenance, and aftermarket solutions. You'll be part of a diverse, supportive and inclusive culture that fosters growth, well-being, and a sense of belonging.What you will be doingAs a key part of the Aftermarket Sales team, you will create impact by building strong relationships with key decision makers and expanding Grundfos' aftermarket market share across water, wastewater, industrial, and building services sectors in California. This is a remote role; residence in the SF Bay area or LA is required to cover the California region.Your main responsibilities include:Lead the service and aftermarket sales process for assigned customers and territory, focusing on growing service agreements, digital services, and pump repair business to meet sales quota and profit objectivesCall on customers within the California territory to increase awareness of Grundfos aftermarket capabilities, prepare quotations, and negotiate pricing in accordance with company guidelinesEstablish and maintain strong relationships with target decision makers, serving as a value-added technical resource and promoting the Grundfos brandPerform troubleshooting, support emergency callouts, and assist with equipment startup and customer training as neededMonitor industry trends, competitive conditions, and market intelligence, providing recommendations on product changes and new opportunities to leadershipCollaborate closely with sales and service delivery teammates to ensure seamless customer experiences and consistent revenue growthWhat makes you a great fitAbove all, you are a results-driven sales professional with deep technical knowledge of pumps and rotating equipment, a strong customer-first mindset, and the ability to independently manage a territory while juggling multiple priorities with accuracy and urgency. Individual pay will be determined based on market location and the candidate's profile. The range listed is just one component of Grundfos's total compensation and benefits package for employees. Total compensation includes paid time off, paid holidays, merit increases, bonuses, and employee stock purchase programs, etc. Grundfos salary rates are benchmarked and reflect the target for new hire salaries for the position in this region.Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
