Title Senior Project Manager Job Type Contract Contract Length 6+ months Pay Range $60 - $70/hr Target Start Date ASAP Work Location/Structure Remote (PST) About the Opportunity Our client, a leader in Cloud Computing and IT Infrastructure, is looking for a skilled Senior Project Manager to join their team for a 6+ months engagement. This project involves taking consulting engagements of medium to high complexity, with up to $1M in revenue, from initiation to close-out. This is a high-impact role that requires a self"‘motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly. Key Responsibilities & Deliverables Project Management Oversight: Serve as the single point of contact/accountability for consulting engagements, managing them within mutually agreed upon scope, schedule, and budget while adhering to PMO methodology. Planning and Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans including charter, scope, work breakdown structures, estimates, resource plans, budget, and risk assessment/mitigation plans across multiple work streams. Risk Management & Quality Control: Direct and monitor daily work efforts, identify resource needs, perform quality review, and proactively take corrective action to define and manage overall project risks. Stakeholder Communication: Provide clear and timely communication regarding project status, including schedule, budget, progress to date, risks, and milestones to all relevant stakeholders and sponsors. Business Development Support: Engage with Sales and Account teams to identify and drive account growth opportunities and provide thought leadership to enhance customer relationships. Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in a technical project management role, preferably as a Professional Services consultant. Deep functional domain and technical knowledge in large"‘scale Data Center (DC) modernization, IT transformation, Hybrid cloud, and Intra/Inter DC Virtual Machine (VM) migration projects. Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Experience in customer"‘facing positions as a professional services consultant or engineer, preferably with a Technology or "Big 5" consulting organization. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills, essential for acting as an accountable leader and trusted advisor.
