In this essential role, you will contribute to the seamless operation of our services, providing crucial support to our department in delivering exceptional client service and maintaining our commitment to excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide contextual analysis of conflicts resultsManage the department's intake of requests from attorneys, Accounting, and others, and provide accurate and timely responsesPerform conflict searches to facilitate the processing of change requestsAssist the department manager with lateral conflicts check processPerform conflict searches for new clients and new matters including reviewing and analyzing resultsReview new matter requests for accuracy and adherence to firm policy and proceduresEnsure timely processing of new matter intake forms within IntappCommunicate with lawyers and legal administrative assistants and answer questions regarding matter-opening proceduresAssist in firm technology projects involving new business intakeOther duties as assignedRequirementsAbility to take full ownership of assigned duties.Minimum three (3) years of experience in a law firm environment - preferably new business and conflicts experience.Experience with Intapp, iManage and Aderant preferredExcellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.Exceptional organizational skillsDetail-oriented with a strong work ethicDemonstrated ability to independently plan and coordinate work with others as necessary to bring projects to successful completionDisplays good judgment in handling confidential information.Ability to communicate with attorneys and firm personnel at all levelsHighly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail.Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Ability to foster and grow positive team-oriented working relationships.Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with both the FCO and the California Fair Chance Act (FCA).The hourly rate range for this position is $32.00 - $ 39.00.
