The AI Data Specialist will be responsible for turning 's growing operational, customer, and supply chain data into actionable insights and intelligent systems. This role will design and implement data models, dashboards, and AI-driven tools that help leadership make faster, better decisions across inventory, logistics, customer behavior, marketing performance, and operational forecasting. The ideal candidate is both analytical and pragmatic; someone who can work with imperfect datasets, structure information clearly, and deploy practical AI solutions that improve efficiency and decision"‘making across the company. This role is open to all 50 states.ResponsibilitiesData Infrastructure & AnalysisOrganize and structure internal datasets across operations, logistics, sales, and marketing.Build data models that provide clear visibility into:Inventory levels and allocationSales and demand trendsOperational performanceDevelop dashboards and reporting tools that allow leadership to quickly understand key metrics and trends.AI & Automation DevelopmentIdentify opportunities where AI or machine learning can improve business operations.Develop AI-powered tools for:demand forecastinginventory planningoperational reportingcustomer behavior analysisBuild internal tools that automate repetitive data analysis tasks.Predictive AnalyticsUse statistical modeling and machine learning to predict:product demand trendsinventory needsoperational bottleneckscustomer purchasing patternsTranslate data outputs into clear recommendations that leadership can act on.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with:Operations & Allocation - to improve inventory forecasting and allocation decisionsImport/Export & Logistics - to analyze shipping timelines and operational performanceSales & Marketing - to evaluate customer behavior, retention, and campaign effectivenessData Quality & GovernanceEnsure data accuracy and consistency across internal systems.Clean and normalize datasets from multiple sources.Establish best practices for data storage, access, and reporting.Qualifications4-8+ years experience in data science, analytics, or machine learningStrong experience working with large datasetsProficiency in tools such as:PythonSQLR (optional)Experience applying machine learning or AI models to real-world business problemsStrong understanding of statistics, predictive modeling, and data analysisExperience working with imperfect or evolving datasetsStrong analytical and problem-solving mindsetAbility to translate complex data into clear business insightsComfortable working in fast-moving environmentsSystems thinker who enjoys building structure from messy dataClear communicator able to explain technical insights to non-technical stakeholdersWhat "Good" Looks Like at MatchaClear visibility into key operational and sales data across the companyAI-driven tools that improve decision-making speed and accuracyImproved forecasting of demand and inventory needsReduced manual reporting through automationActionable insights that directly improve operational performancePlease send your resume to: (must cc: )Email Subject: [Your Name] - AI Data Specialist #J-18808-Ljbffr
