Base Pay Range $90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr Tech company is seeking a self-driven HR Generalist with outstanding management and communication skills. An HR Generalist is expected to be a conceptual thinker with superb organizational and time management skills. You must be reliable and take responsibility for the smooth operations of the organization. A solid understanding of the HR processes throughout the employee life cycle is essential. To ensure success, the HR Generalist should display remarkable conflict management and decision-making skills with a solid understanding of local and federal HR laws, employee relationships, recruitment management, employee development and company culture. Top candidates will be superb at problem-solving, efficient in project management, transparent in communication and precise in administrative processes. We're looking for an HR Generalist with strong organizational skills, high IT literacy (including Microsoft 365, collaboration tools, and AI tools), excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of HR related laws and regulations. Ability to interpret complex data and present insights in a clear and actionable manner. The ideal candidate can work independently and manage multiple priorities, handle tasks efficiently under pressure in a remote environment. Business-level Japanese is essential for regular communication with stakeholders in Japan. Summary The HR Generalist plays a critical role in driving people management initiatives"”including performance feedback, evaluations, manager support and training, talent development, and culture enhancement"”while ensuring alignment with Kintone's values and compliance standards. This role partners closely with CEO, executives and managers to provide guidance, resolve requests and concerns promptly, and foster effective communication, helping to enhance the company culture and optimize the organization in support of business goals. You will help members thrive in their roles, and foster a workplace that balances the team's productivity and the members' happiness. Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of core HR functions and processes Lead people management initiatives, including employee engagement, performance and salary reviews, manager support and training, talent development, and culture enhancement Manage employee relations matters, including handling complaints and grievance procedures appropriately Analyze HR metrics to support data-informed decision-making Support HR operations such as payroll coordination, recruitment initiatives, and planning internal events Communicate with external agencies and public services as needed Collaborate and report regularly to the CEO and Japan headquarters Working Hours Mon-Fri, 9:00am-6:00pm "»The position requires regular participation in weekly meetings with Japan HR, ranging from the hours of 9-11AM Japan Standard Time. Required Skills & Experience Experience in leading people management initiatives; employee engagement, performance and salary reviews, manager support and training, talent development, and culture enhancement 5+ years of HR experience in IT sector Business English language ability Business Japanese language ability Comfortable working with new business technologies Superb problem-solving skills Excellent organizational and multitasking skills Flexibility, openness, and ability to thrive in an environment of change Background in organizational psychology, data science, or business analytics is a plus Desired Skills & Experience Experience with Google Cloud, Terraform, gRPC, Kubernetes, or Istio/Envoy Experience in writing software in Java Knowledge of OAuth2, OIDC, SCIM, and SAML #J-18808-Ljbffr
