Area Sales Manager Los Angeles, CA | Remote Job Description What's the role? The Area Sales Manager is the face of the company to our number"‘one customer - our dealers. The focus of this role is to increase the number of funded deals by partnering with dealers who will be a good fit. The role enables growth by identifying, onboarding, and managing dealers in your respective local Region. A consultative sales and management approach is required to establish strong relationships with dealers that help their businesses grow. What will you do as our Area Sales Manager? Present and communicate company products and services to all levels of management within Independent and Franchise Dealerships. Identify sales prospects and contact accounts assigned to you. Follow up on new leads and referrals from telephone calls for Independent and Franchise dealers. Develop, maintain, and grow current and potential dealer partners within the Independent and Franchise Dealer communities. Maintain constant and effective communication with dealer partners on current programs. Train dealers on Western Funding procedures and required documentation for fast funding of contracts. Qualifications Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint). High School diploma or equivalent (required). College degree or equivalent work experience (preferred). Strong knowledge of Automotive, Finance, and Sales. Previous experience in the Financial Services Sector or within a Car Dealership. 1"‘2 years of previous experience in a challenging sales role with a proven track record of success. Clear and effective presentation skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of warm calling, appointment setting, and sales techniques. Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology. Results orientation: getting things done in alignment with company objectives. Able to work independently and in a team. Bi"‘lingual (Spanish) a plus. Comfortable traveling up to 75% of the time to visit Auto Dealers. A valid driver's license is required; alternative transportation is not acceptable. Compensation Plan First"‘Year Salary Range: $54,000 - $125,000 per year (base salary + performance commissions). Average rep earning after 1 year: $79,000. Average earning of top 10 reps: $125,000. Commission potential: no cap (unlimited). Monthly mileage reimbursement: average $450. The exact starting compensation will be determined at hiring and depends on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
