Join us in building a better future, one water drop at a time.We're seeking a Engineering Project Manager who will work with clients and vendors to design water and wastewater treatment solutions that meet the customer's needs. The ideal candidate will have a PE license in at least one state and will have a firm understanding of the various technologies in the WTP and WWTP industry.ResponsibilitiesManage water and wastewater treatment engineering projects.Translate customer requirements into functional system designs.Review pre-construction design and documentation.Prepare meeting agendas and document meeting minutes.Manage sub-consultant agreements, work tasks and project budgets.Support the sales team by assisting with technical design, estimating hours, and highlighting logistical challenges.Generate functional system descriptions and diagrams.Perform system calculations from preliminary to final design.Provide markups for plans and lead cost estimates.Coordinate with project staff, other disciplines, subconsultants, clients, and reviewers to ensure accuracy and quality of work.Manage and maintain project documentation, including meeting project schedules, budgets, and scope.Assist in proposal development, scopes of work, and fee schedule preparation.Mentor junior staff with technical and professional development.Collaborate with and manage external engineering firms and consultants.Review and approve final design of projects.RequirementsBachelor's degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, environmental or other related field), or Construction Management8+ years of relevant experience.Licensed Professional Engineer in one or more states preferred.Knowledge and understanding of water and wastewater treatment technologies.Experience with general construction, utilities, and/or water and wastewater treatment plants.Ability to read and understand civil, mechanical, structural, and electrical drawings.Ability to create process & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).Proficient with MS Office products and other standard software packages.Proficient with CAD and other design software platforms.Location & Travel:This is a remote-based position. The Engineering Project Manager will be required to travel to job sites up to 4-6 days per month.IWS offers:Competitive salary and benefits including:PTO and 8 company-paid holidays401kSalary range*: $110-$150k, plus project bonuses!*The provided base salary range is used nationally.
