Job Description

FedRAMP & AWS GovCloud Program Lead Remote consulting role focusing on FedRAMP and AWS GovCloud modernization, migration, and authorization for telecommunications and regulated clients. Responsibilities Lead FedRAMP readiness assessments, gap analyses, and authorization strategies for Moderate and High baselines. Define and own FedRAMP roadmaps including scope, sequencing, cost drivers, and timelines. Guide clients through FedRAMP documentation, control implementation, and audit preparation. Coordinate across AWS GovCloud, 3PAOs, and client security teams. Advise on shared responsibility models and system boundary definition. Lead migration strategies from on"‘prem or commercial cloud to AWS GovCloud. Assess and modernize legacy applications including monoliths, custom platforms, and telecom systems. Define target"‘state architectures aligned to FedRAMP security, scalability, and resiliency. Advise on re"‘host, re"‘platform, and re"‘factor patterns within regulated constraints. Ensure alignment between security, architecture, and business outcomes. Apply telecommunications domain knowledge including high availability, resiliency, legacy dependencies, and data sovereignty. Translate telecom constraints into compliant cloud architectures. Support additional regulated clients such as justice, public safety, and federal"‘adjacent workloads. Serve as primary FedRAMP and GovCloud advisor to executives and technology leaders. Present executive"‘level narratives on risk, tradeoffs, and decision points. Lead cross"‘functional teams across security, cloud, application modernization, and compliance. Support pre"‘sales through roadmap creation, solution framing, and credibility building. Experience Requirements 10+ years in cloud architecture, security, or regulated technology programs. Direct, hands"‘on leadership of FedRAMP programs, preferably for multiple clients. Proven experience with AWS GovCloud including architecture, services, and security patterns. Experience migrating from on"‘prem and/or commercial AWS to GovCloud. Strong understanding of NIST 800"‘53, FedRAMP controls, and compliance workflows. Experience working with 3PAOs and federal or federal"‘adjacent stakeholders. Ability to operate in ambiguity and define strategy ahead of full technical detail. Prior experience with telecommunications clients (preferred). End"‘to"‘end FedRAMP Moderate and/or High authorizations (preferred). Advisory experience pre"‘authorization, not only during audits (preferred). Background in public safety, justice, or mission"‘critical systems (preferred). AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect or Security with GovCloud experience (preferred). Education Requirements AWS Certifications such as Solutions Architect or Security. Compensation & Benefits Rate: $90-$100 per hour (W2).
