Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes and healthcare facilities. Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital or computed radiography equipment. Submit and transmit images to a Radiologist for interpretation. Unload portable X-Ray equipment and transport it into facilities for exams ordered by physicians. Must obtain clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-Ray images. Perform EKGs when needed and transmit results to a Cardiologist. Scan exam-related paperwork and documents daily as per protocol. Regularly communicate with dispatch and management. Interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients. Maintain vehicle and X-Ray equipment. Physical Demands: The physical demands described may represent those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. Radiologic Technologists may push or pull weights ranging from 50 to 100 lbs. Weight may decrease with the use of vehicle ramps and pulleys. However, pushing or pulling equipment within facilities or homes may increase weight requirements. Up to 50 lbs of force or more may be required 16 to 24 times a day.
