Familiar with GE and Siemens Fluoro rooms. Experience in vascular IR, including endografts, Neurovascular, and trauma. Ability to scrub neurovascular cases and familiarity with thrombectomy devices for strokes. Description: Position requires an Interventional Radiology Tech. Candidate will work 5x8 DAY shifts. Call requirements include 1 day a week, with weekend call every third or fourth weekend. Daily caseload is typically 10-15 cases per tech. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Local candidates are not accepted; must reside at least 50 miles away. Pending state license is acceptable if it is active by the start date. Experience in trauma, pediatrics, and adult patient care is preferred but not required. The tech should possess skills in accessing/managing ports, accurate monitoring, and various interventional procedures. The unit supports a variety of cases including strokes, trauma, and oncology patients. Interdisciplinary support is available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and more. Successful candidates will have a background in similar settings and be prepared for a fast-paced environment. Professional conduct is vital; issues such as unprofessional behavior could lead to contract termination. Module hours may be required prior to starting.
