OverviewConvergint is looking for a full-time, results driven and forward-thinking Project Manager - Scheduler to join our Strategic Enterprise Solutions (SES) Team. As an SES Project Manager - Scheduler, you are part of a dynamic team that develops strategies and solutions to meet targeted enterprise client needs on large multi-site, multi-region complex projects and initiatives. What you'll do Manage a high volume of projects with tight and frequently shifting timelines, ensuring schedules are continuously updated, accurately prioritized, and aligned with evolving customer and operational needs. Develop a comprehensive understanding of project scope, key milestones, and timelines to create and maintain a detailed, realistic project schedule. Communicate effectively with high-level stakeholders through verbal updates, formal presentations, and cross-functional meetings to ensure clear alignment and timely information sharing. Maintain and update project tracking tools with accurate schedule dates, contact details, and relevant project information. Escalate risks or issues promptly when milestone dates or deliverables are at risk. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve operational efficiency, and support consistent performance across all assigned responsibilities. Perform risk mitigation considering site parameters, resource availability, and customer milestones to minimize impacts to field operations. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather essential scheduling inputs including milestone targets, dependencies, and resource constraints. Identify and document potential scheduling risks and recommend effective mitigation strategies to maintain project progress and on-time delivery. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested or required. What You'll Need At least 5 years of experience managing high-volume, fast-paced projects with shifting deadlines. Strong understanding of project management principles, scheduling practices, and milestone tracking. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present to and collaborate with high-level stakeholders. Proficiency with project management and tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Excel, or similar platforms). PMP certification preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing deadlines, and maintain attention to detail in dynamic environments. Ability to identify risks, assess impacts, and develop effective mitigation strategies. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external partners. Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to analyze processes and recommend efficiency enhancements.
