By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards.Deliver EHS training programs to employees, covering topics like hazard communication and emergency response.Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions.Maintain accurate EHS records and prepare regulatory reports for submission to agencies.Manage hazardous waste disposal programs in accordance with environmental regulations.Advise management on best practices for maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related science/engineering field.3-5 years of EHS experience within a manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.Demonstrated ability to conduct EHS training, incident investigations, and risk assessments.Experience with EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).Professional EHS certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM) preferred.Bonus QualificationsAbility to conduct ergonomic assessments and recommend improvements.Experience with ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems implementation or auditing.Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools for EHS metrics (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).Certification in a specialized EHS area (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM).Familiarity with Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) programs and principles.Job Titles That Should ApplyEnvironmental Health & Safety Specialist, EHS Specialist, Health and Safety Officer, Safety Coordinator, Environmental Specialist, Occupational Health and Safety Advisor, HSEQ Specialist, EH&S Coordinator, Safety and Environmental Compliance Officer, Industrial HygienistWhy The Pivot Group NetworkThe Pivot Group Network was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
