By connecting with us, you position yourself for opportunities that align with what you're looking for.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and implement preventative measures.Deliver EHS training programs to employees on topics such as hazard communication, lockout/tagout, and emergency preparedness.Maintain accurate EHS records, including incident reports, training logs, and inspection findings.Manage hazardous waste programs, ensuring proper handling, storage, and disposal.Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate EHS considerations into new projects and processes.Recommended QualificationsBachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related science/engineering field.3+ years of EHS experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations.Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and developing corrective actions.Ability to develop and deliver EHS training programs to a diverse workforce.Bonus QualificationsExperience with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systemsProfessional certification such as CSP, CIH, or CHMMDemonstrated ability to lead and facilitate EHS training programsFamiliarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing principles for process improvement in EHSProficiency in EHS software platforms (e.g., Gensuite, Intelex, Sphera)Job Titles That Should ApplyEnvironmental Health & Safety Specialist, EHS Specialist, EHS Coordinator, Safety Officer, Health and Safety Advisor, Occupational Health and Safety Specialist, Safety Coordinator, Environmental Specialist, Health and Safety Manager, OH&S SpecialistWhy The Pivot Group NetworkThe Pivot Group Network was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
