Required Qualifications - CRNA (Virginia & Travel) Minimum 1 year of experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Current registered nurse license; board certification as a CRNA required Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists certification (current or recertified) Eligible or willing to obtain Virginia state license (candidates needing VA licensure will be considered) Experience with Epic EMR preferred Core Responsibilities - Locum Tenens Anesthesia Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain/verify informed consent Discuss anesthetic plans, options, and risks with patients and families Provide induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia for General, Ortho, OB, and Pediatric cases Continuously monitor physiologic status and provide perioperative management and clinical interventions as needed Collaborate closely with supervising anesthesiologists and perioperative team members Document care accurately in Epic and adhere to facility policies and safety protocols Ideal Candidate CRNA with strong perioperative clinical skills and comfort across a broad case mix Independent, team-oriented clinician who adapts well to travel assignments and new facilities Committed to patient safety, clear communication, and timely documentation Apply now to be considered for this locum tenens CRNA travel position in Petersburg, VA.
