Structural Engineer Consultant

Role Description We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This role focuses on delivering high-quality structural analysis and consulting services across a wide range of dynamic projects in the entertainment and temporary structures space. You will play a key role in evaluating structural systems, advising clients, and ensuring designs meet safety, performance, and schedule requirements. This position requires a balance of technical expertise, problem-solving, and collaboration with tight deadlines. Key Responsibilities: Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of projects including expo's, movie sets, special effects, special events, production studio consultations, our list goes on. Evaluate feasibility and develop efficient engineering solutions Provide expert guidance to clients and internal teams Manage project timelines and deliverables in a deadline-driven environment Utilize and support implementation of engineering software tools and workflows Perform site visits for productions and events. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering (or related field) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in structural engineering Experience in consulting and advising clients on technical solutions Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines Familiarity with engineering software and digital workflows Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to perform site visits Preferred: Professional Engineer (PE) license (or proof of passing the 8 hour NCEES exam) required Experience with tools such as AutoCAD, RIA 3D, HILTI ProfisBased in Los Angeles, Orange/Riverside/Ventura Counties.
