A hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, has an opportunity for a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide locum coverage. Opportunity Details: Schedule: 1-2 days per week and 1 weekend per month Shifts: 24-hour call, 7a-7a Setting: ICU, telemetry unit, and ICU Duties: Surgical CT, vein harvest, chest tube placement Must be proficient with first assisting in CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracotomy/lung resection cases EMR: Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses During your time off, visit a historic racetrack, enjoy farm-to-table dining and Southern cuisine, and stroll through a vibrant downtown.
