JOB SUMMARY The OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive healthcare services to women across the lifespan, with a focus on reproductive and gynecologic health. This role includes conducting exams, diagnosing and treating conditions, providing prenatal and postpartum care, and educating patients on preventive health and wellness.Key Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive gynecologic and obstetric assessments, including annual exams and prenatal visitsDiagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions related to women s healthProvide prenatal, postpartum, and family planning careConduct routine screenings (Pap smears, breast exams, STI testing)Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans in accordance with state regulationsCollaborate with OB/GYN physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient careEducate patients on reproductive health, contraception options, and disease preventionMaintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) systemParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and patient care programsOther duties as assigned.
