WANDER STAFFING seeks to add two (2) telework Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs) to our Team ASAP. These positions are with the Navy Recruiting Command (NRC), Medical Accession Waiver Division. We have been awarded this contract and can begin security and credentialing quickly. About the Navy Recruiting Command (NRC): The Navy Recruiting Command (NRC), N33 Medical Accession Waiver Division, is responsible for ensuring Navy applicants are physically and mentally capable of carrying out the Navy mission, respective occupational duties, and are deployable worldwide. In support of this responsibility, N33- NRC reviews medical records of both enlisted and officer applicants who are applying for entrance into the Navy. Location: Remote telework from home with occasional, reimbursed onsite travel for orientation and training. Pay:$95/hour1099Start Date : 6/1/26 with flexibility for notice periods and security/credentialingDuration of contract:5 yearsNote: The duration of the contract is between the government and us. Like any other job, if life means you must leave, you give us a 60-day notice License and Certification Requirements: Current, valid, unrestricted NP or PA license in any state, DC, PR, or a Territory of the U.S.NP Board Certification or NCCPA certification required Qualifications:Prior experience conducting duty status reviews and/or working waiver cases for the DON is preferredUS Citizenbe able to fluently read, write, and speak English Schedule:M-F CSTFlexibility in schedules to allow for various locations/remote work.The exact hours will need to work with weekly meetings currently scheduled at 1300 Central Time on Wednesdays, and 1030 Central Time on Fridays. Duties:Conduct medical record reviews and make medical recommendations for accession into the Navy for enlistment and commissioning, or retention into Special Duty designators or Navy Enlisted Classifications (NEC).Complete a review of all cases submitted within their scope of training and provide a medical recommendation utilizing the electronic waiver system and external tracking systems as deemed appropriate.The caseload can be broken down into the following categories:Navy enlistment waiversNavy commissioning waiversSpecial Duty assignment reviewsReconsideration reviews of previously adjudicated cases.This may also include independent reviews for appeal cases and quality assurance or inter-rater reliability reviews.Perform the review of all submitted cases, applying accession and retention standardsComplete a minimum of 3 cases per hour, with some variation due to case complexity and technology infrastructure constraints.Review and make medical recommendations on packages submitted for all programs that are managed by the CNRC Waivers Division, using the electronic waiver system (currently Webwave II) and other supporting computer-based systems or interfaces.All routine case submissions have the standard of having a completed SR review withing two business days from the time of receipt in the SR queue. Other case types (e.g., Urgent, Expedited, Special Duty, and Reconsideration) have specific timelines associated with their case types:Urgent same day if submitted prior to 1530 CSTExpedited- within 1 hour if submitted prior to 1530 CSTSpecial Duty- within two business daysReconsideration cases within 3 business days of submission of new documentation.
