Executive Talent Researcher / Executive Sourcing Partner Overview We are seeking an experienced Executive Talent Researcher to support senior"‘level hiring across engineering and product organizations. This individual will operate as a strategic advisor and market intelligence partner, owning the top"‘of"‘the"‘funnel for executive searches and enabling data"‘driven hiring decisions. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply passionate about executive talent identification, thrives in competitive markets, and has a proven track record sourcing senior leaders (Sr. Director through SVP, including leaders of leaders). Key Responsibilities Own the complete top"‘of"‘the"‘funnel recruitment lifecycle for executive search initiatives Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role scope, leadership expectations, and business impact Develop and execute market mapping and competitive intelligence strategies to identify high"‘potential executive talent Calibrate candidate profiles against role requirements, organizational needs, and workload expectations Deliver curated, high"‘quality talent pools with insights, not just resumes Manage multiple executive searches simultaneously while maintaining confidentiality Conduct strategic outreach, engagement, and initial assessment of executive candidates Serve as an internal talent intelligence expert, advising on market trends, org design, and competitive positioning Demonstrate ownership, urgency, and accountability in advancing executive hiring priorities Required Qualifications (Top Skills) 5+ years of experience in market mapping and executive talent research Proven success sourcing executive"‘level talent (Sr. Director, VP, SVP; leaders of leaders) Experience sourcing talent from MAANG or comparable top"‘tier technology companies Deep expertise in executive sourcing within engineering and/or product organizations Preferred Experience (Nice to Haves) Background at a mid"‘sized or scaling technology company Experience in executive search firms (e.g., Heidrick & Struggles, Spencer Stuart, Egon Zehnder, Korn Ferry, True, etc.) Demonstrated success identifying niche and hard"‘to"‘find talent in competitive markets Experience handling confidential and sensitive executive searches Strong candidate outreach, engagement, and assessment capabilities Advanced use of LinkedIn Recruiter and Sales Navigator Ability to clearly articulate sourcing strategy, research methodology, and market insights Skills & Attributes Highly detail"‘oriented, data"‘driven, and thorough Curious, proactive, and naturally drawn to talent identification Agile self"‘starter who thrives in fast"‘paced environments Comfortable working independently while influencing stakeholders Strong written and verbal communication skills Job Type & Location Contract position based out of San Francisco, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $62.00/hr.
