What you'll do Mercor is partnering with leading AI labs to advance frontier agent evaluations in procurement. As a Procurement & Vendor Expert, you'll build long-horizon sourcing tasks that mirror the work you already do. Each task is paired with a deterministic rubric that grades agent performance against verifiable ground truth. Expect to build scenarios across the following domains: Sourcing and diligence: RFP responses scored against a rubric, vendor due diligence with required fields and known risk flags. Contracting: Supplier contract reviews identifying a seeded list of issues; SOW negotiations that resolve to defined commercial outcomes. Vendor management: Scorecards with defined metrics and calculated totals; renewal analyses with ground-truth recommendations. These scenarios are challenging and require long sessions of focus. Qualifications 3+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management. Expertise in one or more of: vendor due diligence, SOW negotiation/structuring, SaaS pricing models, supplier security review, procurement-tool administration (Coupa, Ariba, Zip). Comfortable reading and producing procurement artifacts such as RFPs, vendor scorecards, contract summaries, and negotiation plans. Clear written communication; able to articulate reasoning step by step and encode it into deterministic rubrics. Located in the United States or Canada.
