Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist (Per Diem)

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist with greater than three years of experience to join our growing team on a staff relief (per diem) basis. Memorial Healthcare System is a quaternary care center with a strong referral base. Candidates must have training from an ACGME-accredited institution, be an ABOG active candidate or ABOG Board Certified Diplomate (Board Certified Diplomate preferred).The incumbent will collaborate with community physicians to ensure that patients are afforded high-quality care ranging from routine obstetrical and gynecologic services to high-risk procedures with the support of a multidisciplinary team of midwives, maternal fetal medicine specialists, and neonatologists. Staff relief call schedule is available in either 24-hour or 16-hour inpatient shifts. Responsibilities include labor floor, postpartum maternity, ED, triage, inpatient consults, and emergent gynecologic surgeries. In addition, residents from Memorial's ACGME-accredited GME Program share call with the OBGYN service.This is an employed position that offers professional malpractice and medical liability covered under sovereign immunity.About Memorial Healthcare System
