VP Finance, Contract to Hire, Remote

This role will serve as a key financial leader for the organization, partnering closely with executive leadership to support strategic decision"‘making, financial planning, and investor communication. Job Title: VP of Finance Location: Remote (must work CST hours) Pay Rate: $80"‘115 per hour (depending on experience) Engagement Type: Contract"‘to"‘Hire Responsibilities Include: Lead the company's financial strategy, including forecasting, budgeting, and long"‘range planning in a SaaS environment Build and oversee sophisticated financial models from scratch to support growth initiatives, scenario analysis, and decision"‘making Prepare and present investor and board"‘level reporting, including financial performance, KPIs, and strategic insights Partner with executive leadership to provide guidance on scaling, profitability, and capital efficiency Oversee, manage, and develop the finance team, fostering strong analytical rigor and process improvement Enhance financial processes, controls, and reporting infrastructure to support continued growth Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role within a SaaS, software, or technology company Experience working in a private equity"‘backed or VC"‘backed organization Advanced knowledge of SaaS financial metrics, revenue models, and unit economics Strong experience with investor and board reporting, including presentations and executive"‘level communication Expert"‘level Excel skills, with a track record of building complex financial models from scratch Demonstrated experience managing and developing high"‘performing finance teams Pay Transparency Notice Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to: · the individual's skill sets, experience and training; · licensure and certification requirements; · office location and other geographic considerations; and · other business and organizational needs.
