This role will partner cross-functionally with engineering, product, and client stakeholders to deliver scalable, high-impact solutions.This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and excels at leading cross-functional teams through full project lifecycles.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery & Execution:Lead one or more project teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budgetPlan, monitor, and report on project performance, ensuring adherence to defined objectivesManage project financials, schedules, deliverables, and quality standardsScope & Change Management:Define and maintain project scope in alignment with contractual requirementsManage scope changes and oversee formal change order processesPlanning & Scheduling:Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and schedulesEnsure alignment across project stakeholders and internal teamsFinancial Management:Develop and manage project budgets and forecastsTrack performance against financial targetsRisk & Quality Management:Create and maintain risk management plans, risk registers, and mitigation strategiesEnsure projects meet defined quality standards and compliance requirementsMaintain document control processes and ensure alignment with PMO standardsAgile / Scrum Leadership:Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives)Track team progress and ensure transparent communication across stakeholdersLead requirements gathering, UAT coordination, and deployment activitiesCross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with engineering, QA, product, and accounting teams to ensure project alignmentEnsure all project documentation (requirements, design, user guides, release notes) is complete and aligned prior to deliveryResource Management:Plan and forecast resource needsCoordinate daily project activities and resolve resource conflictsClient Engagement:Act as the primary point of contact for clientsBuild strong client relationships and lead regular status meetingsIdentify opportunities for additional work or expanded solutionsSupport business development efforts, including proposals and presentationsReporting & Communication:Maintain and communicate project status across internal and external stakeholdersPrepare executive-level reporting for leadership teamsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Transportation, Electrical), Computer Science, or related field5+ years of experience delivering IT/software projects across full SDLC2+ years of experience working in Agile/Scrum environments3+ years of experience with ITIL or operations management methodologies5+ years of experience within Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) or related industryProven experience managing multi-phase, multi-million-dollar projectsExperience leading cross-functional teams (5-8+ members)Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPreferred QualificationsPMP (Project Management Professional) certificationCSM (Certified Scrum Master) certificationExperience with Java-based systems or software development environmentsExposure to business development and client-facing proposal workInterested in hearing more?
