You will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to maximize sales and profitability, focusing on all markets, while serving as a liaison between customers and hotel"‘based colleagues.Develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth for the company's DC/MD/VA market accounts in the hospitality industryBuild and maintain strong relationships with key decision"‘makersCollaborate with internal teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure the successful execution of sales strategiesServe as a key liaison between the corporate office and local hotel leaders.Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitor activity, and market intelligence to inform sales strategies and tacticsAssist in the negotiating contracts, providing support to both the hotel colleagues and customersProvide regular sales reports and forecasts to senior managementEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction by working closely with hotel teams to deliver exceptional service to assigned accountsMonitor and manage the sales pipeline, forecast sales results, and report on sales performance to senior managementRepresent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade showsQualificationsExperience Required3+ years of experience in hotel salesProven track record in sales, consistently exceeding targets and increasing revenue within the hospitality industryStrong knowledge of contract processesExceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skillsExperience Preferred4"‘year college degree preferred or equivalent work experienceSolid written, verbal, and presentation skillsExcellent organizational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholdersExperience in Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint & Word)Proficient in Lanyon, CVENT & Envision (or similar CRM tool)Experience with Cognos, Tableau, Reserve, and OracleExperience in hotel sales focused on the DC/MD/VA market is a bonusAdditional RequirementsMust be located in the Eastern time zone of the United StatesMust be able to work remotely and independently.Must be able to work in a fast"‘paced and very demanding market, including off-peak hours and days as requiredMust have the ability to get creative with customer engagement opportunitiesMust be very strategic when working with accountsFlexibility to travel as needed to meet with clients and collaborate with hotel teams.Strong analytical and problem"‘solving skillsCompensationThe salary range for this position is $90,000-$100,000. This position is also eligible to earn incentive awards, an annual bonus, monthly or quarterly incentives, etc. The final pay rate/salary offered to the successful candidate will depend on experience, skill level, and other qualifications for the role, as well as the location of the performance of work.
