Ref #: C-PT-We're looking for a dedicated Physical Therapist to join a team in Lancaster, New Hampshire for a 14-week contract starting ASAP. The shift is 8:00 AM-4:30 PM. Travel pay: $1,995/35-hours; Local: $1,967/35-hours.What you'll bringA valid, active Physical Therapy state license.Current CPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (AED included).What you'll doPerform thorough physical assessments: review medical history, evaluate function, and consult with the care team to understand each patient's needs.Create individualized treatment plans with clear, measurable goals to guide rehabilitation and recovery.Design and lead exercise programs to build strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.Use hands-on techniques-joint mobilization, soft tissue work, and manual stretching-to improve mobility and reduce pain.Apply therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat, and cold to manage pain and support healing.Teach safe use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs) to boost independence and mobility.Provide patient- and family-centered education on diagnosis, treatment plans, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention.Develop and implement pain-management strategies combining exercises, modalities, and manual therapy.Help patients regain independence after surgery, injury, or illness, focusing on improved function and quality of life.Monitor progress closely and adjust treatment plans as patients improve or needs change.Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other team members to coordinate care.Create tailored home exercise programs to support continued recovery outside the clinic.Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, treatments, progress notes, and any changes in condition.Follow ethical and legal standards of care: protect patient confidentiality and obtain informed consent.Practice cultural sensitivity and adapt care to meet diverse patient backgrounds and preferences.Perform other duties as assigned by management.If you're passionate about helping people move better and live more independently, this role offers a collaborative environment and a chance to make a real difference in patients' lives.
