About Us: Talula’s Table is a gourmet market and café by day that transforms into an intimate, high-end restaurant by night, located in the heart of Kennett Square. Known for our seasonal menus, creative cuisine, and exceptional guest experiences, we pride ourselves on thoughtful sourcing, inspired dishes, and a collaborative, passionate team. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced chef, culinary professional and leader. This is a dynamic, creative role ideal for a chef who thrives in a small, high-end environment and enjoys collaboration while crafting unique dining experiences. This position oversees culinary operations, including dinner service, specialty menus, daily market production, and custom catering as needed. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage kitchen operations with a hands-on, service-driven approach Develop and execute seasonal, creative menus rooted in high-quality ingredients Run nightly dinner service, ensuring consistency and excellence Create unique tasting and specialty menus Manage food costs, ordering, inventory, and vendor relationships Train, mentor, and inspire a small, dedicated culinary team Uphold the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness, and organization Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in a leadership role (Head Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or Sous Chef) in a high-end or fine dining environment Strong leadership skills with the ability to teach, inspire, and develop a team Passion for seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and evolving menus Experience with catering and custom menu development preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented, intimate kitchen Compensation & Benefits: Salary: $65,000 – $85,000, commensurate with experience Opportunity for creative input and menu leadership Supportive, collaborative work environment Growth opportunities within a respected culinary brand Health insurance negotiable Why Join Us?
