Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Full-TimeLocation: Arlington, TXStatus: Full-TimeSchedule: Three 12-hour shifts per weekClinic Hours: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 8:00 PM; Saturday Sunday 8:00 AM 4:00 PMCompensation: Competitive Benefits: Full benefits package available Position Summary NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in Arlington, TX. This role is a great fit for a clinician who enjoys variety, autonomy, and making a meaningful impact in a fast-paced urgent care environment.Our full-time providers typically work three 12-hour shifts per week, with schedules released in advance and no after-hours work. You will treat patients of all ages, manage a broad range of acute illnesses and injuries, and perform common urgent care procedures while being supported by experienced clinical teams, clear practice guidelines, and accessible medical leadership. Key Responsibilities Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care settingManage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visitsOrder and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imagingPerform urgent care procedures such as suturing, wound care, splinting, and other procedures as applicableClearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructionsDocument patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHRCode and bill services appropriatelyMaintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarksPractice in alignment with NextCare s clinical standards and values Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted Texas NP or PA licenseNP: FNP certification through ANCC or AANP requiredPA: NCCPA certification requiredActive DEA license or ability to obtainAbility to treat patients of all agesActive BLS certificationEHR proficiencyWillingness to work rotating weekends and holidaysDOT certification required or willingness to obtain; fees covered per policy Preferred Qualifications Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experienceStrong procedural skills, including suturing, splinting, wound care, and injury managementExperience with initial x-ray interpretation prior to radiology over-readComfort working independently in a fast-paced clinic environment About NextCare NextCare is one of the nation s largest urgent care providers, serving communities with accessible, affordable, high-quality care across 160+ locations in 11 states.
