The facility performs an average of 90-110 scheduled cases per week and operates with excellent supporting staff including surgeons, scrub techs, circulating RNs, and CRNAs.Opportunity:Advanced Practice (PA) - Nurse Practitioner - General Surgery, Physician Assistant - General SurgeryJob Details:• Provide surgical assistance primarily in General Surgery with additional support in Orthopedics, OB/GYN, Urology, and ENT• Handle 10-30 surgical cases per day with 10 patient encounters per shift• Work schedule Monday through Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM with possible rotating weekends• Cases may occasionally extend past 5 PM to 6 or 7 PM but no call coverage expected• Collaborate with supporting OR staff including surgeons, scrub technicians, circulating RNs, and CRNAs• Must maintain active Georgia medical license• Board certification required with BLS certification• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days• Additional practice locations include facilities in Decatur and Atlanta• Focus on scheduled non-urgent surgical cases in outpatient settingCompensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
