Primary focus on outpatient care 36 hours of patient care / ambulatory clinic coverage per week On-call Provider handles new consults at the hospital Phone Consults: 5-6 per week. Call response time: 30 minutes Call back %: Call Type: Beeper Nurse Practitioners round on existing patients New consults are assigned to the on-call provider once evaluated. Patient Mix: 70% Oncology, 30% Hematology (Primarily Benign cases) Call rotation every 4th or 5th week One full week at a time Expected hospital visits: Weekdays (M-F) for new consults Saturday and/or Sunday for rounding only IN State License or IMLC, IN DEA, BLS
