Unit includes 1:3 ratio for IMC, 1:4 for Tele days, 1:5 for Tele nights. Unit cares for cares for highly acute cardiac medicine patients with diagnoses such as acute MI, cardiomyopathy, dysrhythmia, and heart failure. Treatments are primarily medical, but frequently include intervention in the Cardiac Cath & Electrophysiology lab.
