We are dedicated to creating a positive work environment where our employees can thrive and contribute to our success.Job Overview:Weare seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Parts Department in Shipping and Receiving. This role will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and shipment of automotive parts and accessories. This role is crucial to ensuring that our parts inventory is accurate and that orders are fulfilled in a timely and efficient manner.Key Responsibilities:Receive and inspect incoming shipments of automotive parts and accessories.Verify quantities and part numbers against purchase orders and packing anize and store parts in the appropriate locations within the warehouse.Prepare and package parts for shipment to customers and other locations.Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions.Coordinate with the Parts Manager to manage inventory levels and reorder stock as needed.Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.Participate in regular inventory counts and audits.Pull customer orders for deliveryDeliver parts to customers when neededKeep delivery van clean and work with Parts Manager to keep the van maintenance updated.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience in a shipping and receiving role, preferably in an automotive parts department.Familiarity with automotive parts and accessories is a plus.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) as required.Proficiency with computers and inventory management software.Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Benefits:Pay: Starting $20.00 per hour plus commission plan opportunity depending on surance: health, dental, vision, and life insurance plansVoluntary Insurance Options: including Aflac, accident, and critical illnessRetirement Plan: 401k retirement plan with company matchFlexible Spending AccountPaid Holidays: 6 paid holidays per yearPaid Time Off: accrual starting in accordance with state and local law (1 hour for every 40 hours worked for full-time employees working outside of Seattle city limits; and 1 hour for every 30 hours worked for full-time employees working inside Seattle city limits) with accrual increases based on years of continuous serviceOpportunities for professional development and advancement.
