The Software Development Engineer brings a key contribution to a team responsible for the architectural design and implementation of software to support novel electrosurgical systems for surgery being developed by the Sunnyvale Engineering group. Roles and Responsibilities. Develop software applications for electrosurgical and robotic products for minimally invasive surgery. Develop software and firmware in object-oriented C , C, Verilog and Python for embedded systems. Develop software to acquire, process, store, and analyze energy data in real-time. Develop software to support manufacturing and test teams. Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team. Independently solve assigned problems. Qualifications. Required Education, Skills & Experience. Minimum BS required, MS preferred (EE or CS preferred) and minimum 5 years of software development experience.
