Food Runner - Framingham

The Food Runner is responsible for serving food orders as specified by guests in a friendly and courteous manner.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:* Presents self in courteous and professional manner to guests at all times.* Checks orders for accuracy prior to serving to ensure food items are as guests ordered (sides, extras, etc.).* Delivers food orders with appropriate garnishments.* Delivers food orders timely and, where multiple guests involved, at the same time.* Communicates important information to guests (example: hot plate) and servers (example: guest seeking drink from bar).* Responds to guests' requests for condiments or other items.* Continually clears away dishes and debris from stations.* Has knowledge of table numbers and the physical layout of the restaurant to ensure prompt and proper service to guests.* Brings guests' inquiries regarding food allergies to the Manager's attention immediately.* Ensures station is suitable for serving and meets company standards.SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:* Demonstrates good judgment.* Must be pleasant, cooperative and take direction well with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.* Exhibits and uses good manners, proper personal hygiene, positive attitude, and promptness.* Must be able to perform under pressure in a high-volume restaurant setting.* Must be able to interact verbally and listen attentively to guests, co-workers, and supervisors.
