Shop ManagerA to Z Quality Fencing (Fenceperts™)Location: Farmington, MinnesotaSchedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with occasional overtimePay: $28 to $32 per hour depending on experiencePosition OverviewA to Z Quality Fencing is looking for a dependable and experienced Shop Manager to lead daily operations in our fabrication shop. This role is hands on and requires strong leadership, organization, and mechanical ability. You will be responsible for overseeing shop workflow, supporting production, and ensuring materials and equipment are ready for our field crews.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC equipment, saws, and shop machinery for light manufacturing of fence materialsLoad and unload trucks using a forkliftMaintain accurate inventory and track shop materialsPull and stage orders for upcoming jobsPerform light maintenance on shop equipment and company vehiclesLead and manage a shop assistant throughout the dayKeep the shop clean, organized, and running efficientlyQualificationsPrevious experience in a shop, manufacturing, or construction environment preferredAbility to operate forklifts and shop equipment safelyStrong organizational and leadership skillsMechanical aptitude with basic maintenance knowledgeWelding experience is a strong plusAbility to work independently and stay on taskRequirementsMust be able to pass a drug screeningMust be able to pass a background checkValid driver's license preferredWhy Join A to Z Quality FencingAs Fenceperts™, we take pride in craftsmanship, reliability, and doing things the right way.
