The culture is grounded in a simple philosophy: Love Everybody - with patience, kindness, and zero sarcasm.Position SummaryThe Kitchen Lead will help oversee daily kitchen execution while working side by side with team members during peak hours. This role is responsible for supporting food quality, kitchen organization, prep execution, sanitation, safety, temperature controls, and overall shift performance. The Kitchen Lead will provide guidance, coaching, and reinforcement of standards in real time while helping maintain a positive and productive work environment.ResponsibilitiesSupport daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced environmentWork alongside team members during peak service periodsHelp ensure products are stored and prepared according to company standardsMonitor and maintain hot and cold storage temperature control pointsReinforce food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and kitchen organization standardsAssist in training team members on menu builds, prep standards, and execution consistencyProvide real-time coaching and feedback to improve efficiency and consistencyHelp maintain station readiness, prep flow, and line execution during serviceAssist with inventory and ordering of food and suppliesSupport HACCP compliance dutiesPartner closely with management and communicate operational concerns when neededQualificationsKitchen, restaurant, café, or foodservice leadership experience preferredStrong understanding of kitchen operations and back-of-house executionKnowledge of food safety, sanitation, and temperature control standardsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask, stay organized, and maintain standards under pressureAbility to guide, motivate, and support team members during serviceProblem-solving ability and sound judgmentAccountability, reliability, and strong shift ownershipComfort working with a diverse teamBasic Google Workspace and Microsoft knowledgeSalary / BenefitsFull-Time, 40 hours per week, Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experienceHealth insurance, 4 weeks of vacation annuallyGrowth Opportunity - Assistant Executive Kitchen Manager and Executive Kitchen Manager.
