RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a Python Developer.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree or higher in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)Certifications preferred: AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Developer, or Kubernetes Application Developer5+ years of software engineering experiencePassion for excellence, automation, innovation, and collaborationEager to learn new technologies, ways of working, and to adapt every dayBring curiosity and a questioning mind-set to work, injecting new points of view to the teamAbility to triage, execute root cause analysis, and be decisive under pressureAbility to creatively solve new, interesting problems in a dynamic environmentAbility to work with a variety of individuals and groups, both in person and virtually, in a constructive and collaborative manner and build and maintain effective relationshipsAbility to act confidently and cautiously in break-the-glass production scenarios to resolve customer outagesSolid understanding/experience in storage, containers, serverless architecture/framework, cloud IAM controls and policiesHands-on experience building and deploying applications using a variety of Amazon Web Services (primarily Cloud Formation)Proficient in object-oriented programming skills with REST API development and AWS resource provisioning with PythonAbility to apply design patterns and object-orientation to solutionsHands-on experience with containers and container orchestrationStrong understanding of Kubernetes concepts/ecosystem and deploying applications into EKSUnderstanding of versioning and release practices (SCM), code collaboration practices (Git)Proficiency with CI/CD tools, especially JenkinsThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
