Linux Systems Administrator TS SCI w/ Poly with a Sec + Located in Aurora, CO Program Background:ALKU's Client is prime on a mission-critical effort that provides Tier 2 software sustainment and maintenance for across a multitude of operating systems and applications that span over five main domains. This program is seeking candidates at all levels who are willing to learn, grow, lead and teach while working collaboratively with their team to support the Nation's security. They will troubleshoot unique issues as a Tier 2 team. Day to Day Provide Tier 2 Linux system maintenance team for a specific mission-critical systems domainTroubleshooting network software issuesBackup, restore, and recovery procedures of Linux Operating systemsPerform permissions and user/ problem managementSupport configuration management and change management activitiesSupport service transitions including migrations to cloud infrastructureCreate, update, and enhance maintenance and operations documentation Required Skills:Sec + certification (IAT II) Enterprise management toolsUnix, Linux, or Windows operating systems, RedHat, RHELLinux-based software languages (C, C++, Python, Java, Pearl, etc.)Tier 2 Linux system administration experienceknowledge of the Linux filesystemcommand line usage and syntaxExperience supporting configuration management, change management, and service transition.
