RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking an FS BE Java RestAPIs Database in Westlake, TX.REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related fieldMinimum 6+ years of experience in a web and application development roleRESTful APIs, JAX-RS, REST/JSON patternsSolid experience with relational databases (DB2, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and strong SQL proficiencyExperience with event-driven architectures, transaction processing, and messaging using technologies such as WSO2, ActiveMQ, and TomcatDemonstrated proficiency in senior-level engineering responsibilitiesKnowledge of security integration, including OAuth and LDAPHands-on experience with development and DevOps tools including: Git, Maven, Jenkins, uDeploy JIRA, Artifactory Dynatrace, SonarUnderstanding of cloud deployment models with exposure to public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google CloudFront-end exposure using HTML, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular (v17+)Working knowledge of AI-powered development assistance tools such as Copilot or Claude CodeUnderstanding of batch processing systems and service bmessaging queue conceptsPreferred/Nice-to-Have Skills:Knowledge of responsive and adaptive web design principlesExperience with CI/CD pipelines, static code analysis, and test-driven developmentFamiliarity with streaming technologies such as KafkaDeeper hands-on experience with AWS or AzureExposure to container orchestration platforms such as KubernetesThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range.
