Lead Agentic AI EngineerLocation: US (EST Time Zone)Experience Level: LeadLocation: Remote, EST Time zoneRole OverviewWe are looking for a Lead Agentic AI Engineer to drive the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI-powered applications using Generative AI and agentic frameworks.This role combines deep technical expertise with leadership responsibilities, including guiding architecture, mentoring engineers, and shaping AI strategy across initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and development of scalable backend systems using Python and Fast APIArchitect and deliver end-to-end GenAI and Agentic AI applications in productionPartner with Architects to define technical strategy and best practices for agentic AI systemsIntegrate AI solutions with enterprise data platforms (SQL, Databricks)Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and conduct code reviewsCollaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into AI-driven solutionsOversee deployment, scalability, and performance on cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)Drive adoption of emerging frameworks, including AWS Agent Core (Phase 2 roadmap)Required Skills (Must-Have)Expert-level backend development with Python and Fast APIStrong experience with SQL, Databricks, and relational databasesHands-on experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS or Azure)Proven track record of building and scaling end-to-end GenAI or Agentic AI applicationsExperience leading technical teams or owning architecture for complex systemsPreferred Skills (Good-to-Have)Frontend experience with React and Tailwind CSSFamiliarity with AWS Agent Core or similar agent orchestration frameworksWhat We re Looking ForStrong leadership and decision-making skillsAbility to balance hands-on development with strategic oversightExcellent communication with both technical and business stakeholders
