Job Title: Systems Engineer Controls & Software DevelopmentOverview / Summary: We are seeking a Systems Engineer specializing in controls and software development to support feature systems engineering from concept through production. This role focuses on systems architecture, feature development, and integration across hardware and software domains, with an emphasis on next-generation vehicle systems.Key Responsibilities:Lead development of system-level features from early development through production, including upgrade and migration planningDesign and develop system architectures, including network, wiring, and power distribution topologies, schematics, and block diagramsDefine and allocate system features and functions to meet cost, quality, and performance targetsDevelop feature specifications, implementation documentation, verification plans, and safety and cybersecurity assessmentsDesign systems using Model-Based Systems Engineering and software development tools (e.g., Python, C++) and requirements tools (e.g., Gherkin)Develop, test, and deploy solutions for endpoint hardware and software while ensuring compatibility with existing systemsAnalyze existing system designs to identify cost and quality improvementsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop balanced engineering solutionsAnalyze complex systems and implement innovative solutionsLead technical trade-off discussions and communicate system-level decisions clearlyApply data analytics to improve understanding of customer use casesSupport development of next-generation vehicle systems integrating software and systems engineering disciplinesRequired Qualifications:Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field3+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, preferably in the automotive domain3+ years of experience in Software EngineeringExperience with Systems Engineering principles and Model-Based Systems EngineeringProficiency in software development tools such as Python and C++Experience with software requirements tools (e.g., Gherkin)Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems, including networking, wiring, and power distributionExperience developing technical requirements, specifications, and verification plansKnowledge of functional safety and cybersecurity assessmentsExperience working with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issuesUnderstanding of Software Development Lifecycle processesWhat Makes HTC A Great Place To Build Your FutureHTC Global Services wants you to join our team.
