Locums OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner - Colorado Springs, Colorado Availability Start: ASAP (ongoing need) Schedule: Clinic: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Some hospital coverage required Call: 1:5 weekday call 1:10 nights/weekends Full-time coverage strongly preferred Licensure & Certifications Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (required) Active Colorado License (preferred) BLS, ACLS, NRP (required) Key Screening Requirements OB/GYN experience (required) Must be comfortable with: Routine & complicated deliveries C-sections, VBACs, breech, multiples Fetal heart rate interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations Quick Clinical Overview Setting: OB/GYN Clinic + Hospital (Level I Trauma Center) Hospital: 413 beds Patient Volume: 20/day in clinic EMR: Not specified Case Mix Low Risk Pregnancy: 70% High Risk Pregnancy: 10% C-Section Rate: 30% Office GYN: 10% Surgical GYN: 10% Practice Support Team: 5 OB/GYNs 2 Mid-levels Support Staff: 2 RNs, 1 LPN 6 MAs, 3 PAs 1 Surgery Scheduler Onsite: Lab and ultrasound (performed by techs) 11 exam rooms Scope of Work Clinic + hospital-based OB/GYN care Deliveries and labor management Rounding, consults, and patient management No supervision required Preferred Experience High-risk obstetrics OB ultrasound (Level I & II interpretation) Office gynecology procedures (IUD, colposcopy, LEEP, etc.) Additional Notes Collaborative team with strong support staff Mix of clinic and hospital exposure Referral bonuses available Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
