Obstetrics Nurse Practitioner

Job Description: Locum - Nurse Practitioner - OB/GYN in Colorado Springs, CO Join a dedicated team at a premier medical facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado, specializing in OB/GYN care. This practice offers a supportive work environment with a focus on providing top-quality healthcare. The clinic is conveniently located just 1.2 miles from the nearest hospital, offering comprehensive services, including low-risk and high-risk pregnancy care, surgical gynecology, and a full suite of obstetric services. This is a full-time locum opportunity with a Monday to Friday schedule, 8 AM to 5 PM, along with call coverage. Job Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive care for low-risk and high-risk pregnancies. Perform routine deliveries, including vaginal births, and manage C-sections as needed. Conduct gynecological examinations and minor procedures. Interpret Fetal Heart Rate (FHR) and perform non-stress tests (NST). Supervise and collaborate with staff including RNs and MAs during patient care. Provide hospital coverage as required during locum assignment. Qualifications: Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (Required) OB/GYN experience (Required) Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications (Required) Preferably possess a Colorado State License Must have a clean background, NPDB pulled within the last 30 days License and Certification Requirements: Board Certification in Nursing Practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Colorado State License (preferred)Colorado Springs is a vibrant city set against the backdrop of stunning mountain views, offering an array of outdoor adventures, cultural experiences, and a welcoming community.
