Locum Tenens CRNA Job Details Position: Locum Tenens CRNA / Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (Travel CRNA / Contract CRNA) Specialty: General Anesthesiology with exposure to cardiac, neuro, ortho, vascular, OB, and pediatric cases Location: Fredericksburg, VA 22401 - Virginia CRNA job; access to Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. Setting: Level II Trauma Center / Perioperative Services Duration: 13 weeks (locum tenens contract) Start Date: May 18, 2026 (ASAP start available) Estimated Weekly Pay: $6,531 - $7,257 (competitive locum tenens CRNA pay) Hours & Shifts: 40 hrs/week • 5 shifts/week • 8-hour day shifts Required Qualifications - CRNA Jobs Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - board certified Minimum 3 years of CRNA experience in acute care or general anesthesiology (trauma/OB/pediatrics experience preferred) Valid CRNA license (Virginia license preferred or eligibility to obtain state licensure) Required certifications: ABLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS Fellowship training preferred (regional/advanced anesthesia fellowship a plus) Proven experience with general, spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia techniques and complex cases Primary Responsibilities - Anesthesiology Job Provide safe perioperative anesthesia care for adult, pediatric, trauma, and obstetrical patients as an anesthesia provider Administer general, spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia techniques; perform advanced regional blocks Manage complex vascular, orthopedic, thoracic, neuro (head & spine), cardiac, and pediatric surgical cases Perform acute intraoperative management including ventilation, volume resuscitation, and hemodynamic stabilization Place central lines and pulmonary artery catheters as indicated; advanced airway and invasive monitoring skills required Provide advanced pain management procedures, including post-op epidural care and extremity/transforaminal blocks (lumbar and cervical) Collaborate and communicate effectively with anesthesiologists, surgeons, CRNA colleagues, and perioperative staff Why Fredericksburg?
