Role Description This is a hybrid internship role for a Digital Media Correspondent Intern with opportunities for both virtual and in-person content creation and interviews. The selected candidate will assist with conducting interviews, creating digital media content, researching guests and topics, helping coordinate media opportunities, and representing the RapCartel brand professionally across content and events. Candidates should be comfortable on camera, possess strong communication skills, and have a genuine interest in media, entertainment, storytelling, journalism, digital content, and broadcasting. Responsibilities may include: • Assisting with virtual and in-person interviews • Interview preparation and topic research • Assisting with guest outreach and scheduling • Collaborating on digital content and social media ideas • Helping identify relevant interview and content opportunities • Assisting with event coverage and media coordination • Representing the platform professionally during media opportunities and events This role is ideal for individuals interested in media, communications, journalism, broadcasting, digital storytelling, entertainment, and content creation. While RapCartel is based in Atlanta, opportunities may also extend to other major media markets including Los Angeles, New York, and Philadelphia. Remote opportunities may be available depending on role and location. Paid opportunities are available based on role, experience, assignment type, and level of involvement with media coverage, interviews, and content production. Qualifications • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Comfortable speaking on camera and conducting conversations/interviews • Interest in media, communications, entertainment, journalism, digital content, or broadcasting • Professionalism, organization, and reliability • Strong time management and communication skills • Ability to collaborate creatively within a fast-paced media environment • Familiarity with social media and digital content platforms • Prior experience in content creation, hosting, podcasting, journalism, media, events, or communications is a plus but not required
