This position is responsible for operating operating mail finishing equipment This includes maintenance and operation of the machines, as well as meeting the quality standards of the business and its' clientele. This will require working with Client Services, Prepress, Print, and Mail teams to ensure a quality product is delivered. This position requires a technical and mechanical skill set with a keen attention to detail.Responsibilities and DutiesOperate and maintain mail finishing equipment.Handle both cut-sheet and roll paper stocksCollaborate with Prepress, Print, and Mail teams on imposition requirements and workflowsFollow written instructions as outlined in the job instructions, general work instructions, and operating standardsPerform production quality verification steps in compliance with work instructions to ensure consistent qualityPerform production record / sequence verification steps with variable data jobsPerform product sampling as outlined in the job instructions and general work instructionsTroubleshoot bindery and finishing equipment related issuesCollaborate with department managers to effectively meet deadlinesOperate material handling equipment moving press loads raw materials in and out of the departmentAbility to operate or willingness to learn other post print production equipment as neededMaintain a clean and safe work environmentFlexibility to work overtime and in other departments as needed to get the job donePerform job duties in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards including but not limited to HIPAA, SOC2, and OSHAQualifications and SkillsAt least 2 years experience operating mailing, bindery and/or finishing equipmentStrong to intermediate knowledge of press impositionsComfortable working within a team environment, meeting team objectivesConfident with a computer as we are a highly technology focused organization and use a variety of applications to collaborate, process, create, and manage productionAbility to work within a process driven environment, multi-task, and manage prioritiesBenefits and PerksHealth insuranceVacationPaid holidaysBirthday PTO401kConvenient to public transportation and interstate accessAccess Control Level 2This employer participates in E-Verify.
