Industrial Maintenance Technician

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, your solutions will ensure machinery is operational for smooth production. With over 2,000,000 square feet of factory floor, you will be presented with new challenges daily that test your maintenance troubleshooting, repair, and time management skills. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will work side-by-side with other technicians, management, and production to ensure our facility is producing the highest quality product possible. In doing so, you will be responsible for:Completing preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the entire facilityOperate a variety of standard maintenance tools including power tools, basic hand tools, electric tools, and precision maintenance toolsRemoving motors and other equipment components to prepare for repairMinor repairs and alterations to the facilityRepairing electrical and electronic componentsKeeping detailed, accurate records of machine maintenance informationSetting up and operating machinery and adjusting controls to regulate operationsReading work orders and specificationsMaintaining a clean work environmentTo be considered for this role, here are the skills we are looking for:Extensive knowledge of industrial maintenance practices with the desire to continuously improve on such skills3-5 years in a similar role with comparable goals and responsibilitiesAn Associate’s Degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a similar field is highly preferredFamiliarity and comfort with industrial controls, AC/DC drives, and PLCsIt’s a plus to have some experience in pipefitting and weldingThe ability to stay organized and complete a project in a timely mannerExperience reading work orders and specificationsThe flexibility to work unconventional shifts as well as weekly overtime (evenings and weekend required)The love of working with your hands and on machinery.An Associate’s Degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a similar field is highly preferredOccasional lifting up to 70lbs required
