As a critical member of the Energy/Solar team, you will perform a variety of civil engineering tasks and will receive both on-the-job and formal training as well as mentorship, camaraderie, and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interactions.Our Energy team works on projecs including:Solar site DesignUtility scale solar projectsProject Due Diligence and Site ConstraintsJurisdictional Permitting and Agency CoordinationClient Management and moreBachelor’s Degree in Civil EngineeringWe are seeking candidates with 7+ years of prior civil engineering experience working with a professional design firmPE certification or have the ability to obtain within 6 monthsHighly proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, and/or GISExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal skillsStrong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlinesDetail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAt Kimley-Horn, we do things differently.
