Our Land Surveying team does it all, from ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, to topographic and boundary surveys, to hydrographic, transportation (bridge and road) and utility route surveys, to right-of-way engineering services, right-of-way staking and construction staking.Assist Professional Surveyor with the following Responsibilities: Preparation of Location Control Route Survey PlatsReview of title and encumbrance reportsPreparation of Right of Way Parcel Plats (Exhibit “B”) and Legal Descriptions (Exhibit “A”)Preparation of additional Right of Way Engineering documents, Parcel Documentation, Area Computations, L10 and Fee Taking Memo’s)Right of Way Plan DevelopmentProcess field data into topographic surveys (a plus but not required). Analyze record documents and establish layout property lines, alignments, and easementsDownload LiDAR, aerial photography and other GIS data from public domain sites2 or more years of experience as Right of Way Technician or a surveyor-in-training candidateFluent in Civil3D (current versions)Fluent in Autodesk AutoCAD (current versions)Microstation experience a plusFamiliarity with INDOT’s Right-of-Way Engineering manual and standardsPossess strong communication skills and technical writing skillsKnowledge of other related software (Trimble Business Center, GIS, etc) is a plus but not required
